Description

You will provision Azure infrastructure, build data pipelines, and automate deployments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Provision and configure Azure resources including Resource Groups, Storage Accounts, Networking, Managed Identities, and Key Vault.
• Design and implement production-grade Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration.
• Develop ETL/ELT processes using SQL Server and write Python scripts for data transformation and automation.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and SQL performance while documenting solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure and services.
• Strong expertise in building production-grade ADF pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
• Strong SQL Server skills, including T-SQL, performance tuning, and data modeling.
• Experience with CI/CD tools: ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and GitHub for pipeline management.
• Knowledge of Azure security practices (Managed Identities, Key Vault, RBAC).
• Ability to work in short-term, delivery-focused engagements with US Eastern timezone overlap.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Databricks for advanced data transformations.
