You will lead network engineering efforts during cloud application migrations and design target state architectures for cloud adoption.
Responsibilities
- Develop target state and transition state designs for cloud migration processes.
- Maintain full network availability and security throughout the migration lifecycle.
- Deliver Network Design Documents based on technical requirements and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with IT professionals and senior management to execute infrastructure transitions.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or Electrical Engineering.
- 4+ years of experience with Cloud PaaS and/or IaaS (Azure, AWS).
- 3+ years of experience in Enterprise Networking.
- 3+ years of experience with Data Center (DC) design.
- CCNP or CCIE certification.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPBGP, and VxLAN.
- Experience with DMVPN, IPSec, Encryption Standards, and Network Security.
- Proficiency in Python, Ansible, Terraform, Powershell, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure RM templates.
- Hands-on experience with AWS (VPC, S3, EC2, Route 53, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect) and Azure (VNet, VNet-Peering, Private Link, vWAN, ExpressRoute, Firewall, Load Balancer).
- Familiarity with IP Routing Platforms (ISRG2, ASR1K, CSR1k, ASR 9k) and Switching Platforms (Arista 7K, Cisco Nexus 9000).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Calico CNI.
- Cloud networking and security for private clouds (Kubernetes).
