Role Descriptions: Design and deploy Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters with private cluster configurations| managed identities| and RBAC. Configure AKS networking Azure CNI| Kubenet| internal load balancers| and ingress controllers (AGIC NGINX).Integrate AKS with Azure Container Registry (ACR)| Key Vault via CSI driver| and Azure Monitor for containers. Manage Helm chart deployments| namespaces| resource quotas| and pod security policies. Implement node pool autoscaling| cluster upgrades| and blue-green deployment strategies. Harden AKS environments policy enforcement (Azure PolicyOPA Gatekeeper)| network policies| and image scanning. Build and maintain CICD pipelines for containerized workloads using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. Troubleshoot cluster and workload issues| including networking| DNS| resource constraints| and crashes. Develop runbooks and operational documentation for AKS platform management. Coordinate with application teams to onboard workloads onto the AKS platform.
Essential Skills: More than 5 years of Kubernetes experience with at least 2 years on AKS in production. Strong knowledge of Kubernetes internals scheduling| networking| storage| RBAC. Experience with Helm| Kustomize| and GitOps workflows (FluxArgoCD). Proficiency in Azure CNI networking and AKS private cluster configuration. Hands-on experience with ACR| managed identities| and Key Vault integration. CICD pipeline experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) preferred. Scripting skills in Bash| Python| or PowerShell.Nice to have Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or CKAD certification. Experience with service mesh (Istio| Linkerd) on AKS. Exposure to multi-cluster and multi-region AKS architectures.
