Description

Design, deploy, and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters for production workloads.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure AKS networking (Azure CNI, Kubenet), private clusters, and ingress controllers (AGIC, NGINX).
• Implement Helm deployments, namespaces, resource quotas, and pod security policies.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for containerized workloads using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Hardening environments via Azure Policy, OPA Gatekeeper, network policies, and image scanning.
• Troubleshoot cluster issues including networking, DNS, resource constraints, and crashes.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of Kubernetes experience, including at least 2 years on AKS in production.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes internals: scheduling, networking, storage, and RBAC.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Container Registry (ACR), managed identities, and Key Vault integration via CSI driver.
• Proficiency in Azure CNI networking and AKS private cluster configuration.
• Experience with Helm, Kustomize, and GitOps workflows (Flux, ArgoCD).
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400).
• Experience with service meshes (Istio, Linkerd) on AKS.
