Description

Lead application modernization and migration efforts from on-premises environments to Azure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute Azure application modernization projects.
• Develop migration strategies for moving on-premises applications to Azure.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure application security, reliability, and scalability.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor team members on Azure best practices.
• Assess, troubleshoot, and improve existing applications and infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of cloud computing experience with a focus on Azure.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET, and PowerShell.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services and cloud architecture.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven track record leading Azure application modernization projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices and containerization using Docker or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of IaC tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
• Azure certifications including Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer.
