Description

Design and maintain Azure network architecture, focusing on Hub-and-Spoke topologies and FortiGate firewall implementations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Hub-and-Spoke network topology in Azure, ensuring secure and efficient connectivity between Hub and Spoke VNets.
• Architect centralized Hub networks hosting shared services including firewalls, load balancers, and connectivity components.
• Design and manage FortiGate NGFW deployments in Active–Passive High Availability mode with multi-NIC configurations.
• Define firewall placement between External Load Balancers (ELB) for inbound traffic and Internal Load Balancers (ILB) for routing to spokes.
• Implement and optimize firewall policies, NAT rules, threat inspection, and filtering.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in network architecture and design.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure networking, specifically Hub-and-Spoke topology.
• Strong experience with FortiGate Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW).
• Proficiency in configuring Active–Passive High Availability (HA) modes.
• Hands-on experience with Multi-NIC firewall configurations and interface management.
• Knowledge of External and Internal Load Balancer integration with firewalls.
• Ability to design secure connectivity between shared services and application workloads.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with advanced threat inspection and filtering optimization.
• Background in securing management interfaces with restricted public access.
