Description

You will design, implement, and manage OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms within Azure environments.

Responsibilities

• Automate the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of OpenShift clusters through custom pipelines.
• Lead infrastructure automation and continuous deployment efforts using CI/CD pipelines in private virtualized environments.
• Identify and implement upgrades and enhancements to maintain system functionality and performance.
• Document new services and infrastructure while ensuring existing documentation follows best practices.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to engineers, technicians, and integrators.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in technical engineering, infrastructure design, or system development.
• Expert knowledge of container technologies using OpenShift, Kubernetes, Podman, or Docker.
• Advanced knowledge of Azure services, specifically Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO).
• In-depth experience using GitOps (ArgoCD) to configure and maintain Kubernetes clusters at scale.
• Proficiency in writing sustainable scripts using Python, Perl, or Bash.
• Experience with automation using Ansible playbooks or Terraform HCL.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux system configuration.
• Strong understanding of the system development lifecycle, infrastructure architecture, and IT Service Management.
