Description

You will architect and manage OpenShift Kubernetes environments across on-premises VMware and Azure cloud infrastructures.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy customized private OpenShift clusters using IPI and UPI installation strategies on VMware and Azure.
• Integrate Red Hat Single Sign-On, LDAP, and Active Directory for enterprise user management.
• Implement GitOps principles using Argo CD on OpenShift to ensure environment consistency and automated reconciliation.
• Deploy OpenShift Data Foundation to manage scalable, software-defined storage and data resiliency.
• Configure log aggregation using Fluentd or Logstash and develop custom Splunk parsing configurations for Kubernetes log indexing.

Required Skills

• 3 years of experience in containerized environments and cloud infrastructure design.
• Expert knowledge of OpenShift Container Platform 4 and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud and VMware.
• Proficiency with Red Hat technologies and best practices for cluster deployment.
• Experience with Splunk for log aggregation, parsing, and real-time monitoring.
• Knowledge of networking, storage, and compute implementation within Kubernetes.
• Experience managing microservices and databases on Red Hat OpenShift.
