Description

You manage Oracle Database environments on Azure, ensuring security, resiliency, and performance.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Administer Oracle Database 19c and 23ai instances on Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain database security, auditing, and access control policies.
• Configure and manage Oracle Data Guard, Active Data Guard, and GoldenGate replication.
• Execute RMAN backup and restore strategies to ensure data resiliency.
• Perform database patching, upgrades, and capacity planning.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Oracle Database administration.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle Data Guard and Active Data Guard.
• Hands-on experience with RMAN backup and restore procedures.
• Knowledge of Oracle GoldenGate replication.
• Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and monitoring tools.
• Solid understanding of database security, auditing, and identity management.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle 23ai features.
