Description

You will design and manage enterprise-scale Azure data platforms and microservices architectures.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate architectural options to define the overall structure of enterprise Data Lakes and Microservices.
• Define functional and non-functional requirements, including performance monitoring, alerting, and code management.
• Deploy infrastructure using Terraform to ensure consistent environment management.
• Collaborate with IT Security and Infrastructure teams to secure development and deployment pipelines.
• Conduct industry research and vendor evaluations to support new product selection.

Required Skills

• 5-6 years of experience specifically as an Azure Databricks administrator.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks within the last 5 years.
• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure deployment.
• Experience managing Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Cosmos, Function App, SQL DB, and ADLS Gen 2.
• Deep understanding of Data Lake architecture and Microservices.
• Practical experience with Python or Scala.
• Knowledge of Git, Log Analytics, and Fabric.
• Experience in Data Governance and managing Azure platforms.
• Understanding of storage, backup, monitoring, and DR environment requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Machine Learning, AI, Power BI, Azure DevOps, Logic App, and APIM.
