Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage Azure environments across development, testing, and production landscapes.
• Own and manage Azure networking components including VNets, subnets, NSGs, private endpoints, and private DNS with secure private-by-default connectivity.
• Implement ingress and API security using Azure Application Gateway (WAF v2) and Azure API Management (APIM) with secure private backend integrations.
• Configure APIM policies for JWT validation, OAuth scopes, rate limiting, and API security governance.
• Configure and manage Microsoft Entra ID app registrations, OAuth2/JWT authentication flows, Managed Identity, and least-privilege RBAC access controls.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Bicep or Terraform.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure provisioning and container deployments, including gated releases and production promotion workflows.
• Set up observability and monitoring using Application Insights and Log Analytics, including alerts, SLOs, incident handling, and rollback procedures.
• Prepare architecture documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials to support internal platform ownership.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and engineering teams to ensure secure, scalable, and production-ready Azure platform operations.

Skills Required:

• Strong hands-on experience in Azure platform engineering and cloud infrastructure management.
• Expertise in Azure Networking including VNets, NSGs, private endpoints, and private DNS configurations.
• Experience implementing API and ingress security using Azure APIM and Web Application Firewall (WAF).
• Good understanding of Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth2/JWT authentication, Managed Identity, and RBAC practices.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep or Terraform.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines for cloud infrastructure and containerized workloads.
• Familiarity with observability, monitoring, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
• Knowledge of cloud security, operational governance, and production support best practices.
• Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Ability to lead platform setup, operational readiness, and knowledge transfer initiatives.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
