Description

You will lead the architecture and deployment of scalable cloud-native platforms on Microsoft Azure for high-traffic applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of large-scale applications serving over 5 million daily active users.
• Direct the development of cloud-native platforms using Azure SQL, MongoDB, and Azure Service Bus.
• Manage global product deployments to ensure high availability, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with the CTO and Head of Engineering to define platform vision and technical strategy.
• Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership for continuous improvement.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in technical leadership roles.
• Expertise in designing and implementing cloud-native platforms on Microsoft Azure.
• Proven track record managing high-traffic web applications with 5MM+ daily users.
• Deep knowledge of Azure SQL, MongoDB, and Azure Service Bus.
• Extensive experience with microservices architecture.
• Experience operating at a CTO, Head of Engineering, or Distinguished Engineer level.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to executive stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization.
• Proficiency with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Active involvement in the cloud-native community through publications or conferences.
