Description

You design scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant hosting platforms on Azure, translating requirements into detailed public cloud architecture designs.

Responsibilities

• Transform requirements from architecture, operations, or customers into detailed public cloud architecture designs.
• Conduct solution design review meetings with application teams and stakeholders to align on technical needs.
• Select appropriate Azure services based on compute, data, networking, high-availability, and security requirements.
• Design automation services in the public cloud and execute Azure cost optimization initiatives.
• Ensure operational supportability of designs by collaborating with operational support teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management or support roles.
• Deep experience with Azure technologies including VMs, DB PaaS, Blob Storage, RBAC, Azure Monitor, Secrets, Functions, AKS, Express Route, VNET, Hub & Spoke, and Private Links.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Ansible for DevOps orchestration and CI management.
• Practical knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization.
• Ability to perform infrastructure and application monitoring across production and non-production platforms.
• Expertise in implementing best practice cloud security within Azure solutions.
• Experience managing high-availability (HA) clusters and containers.
• Proficiency with Power BI for data requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in presales or pre-sales architecture roles.
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement and design reviews.
