Description

You will design and implement secure cloud-based solutions within Azure environments, owning the security architecture from design through incident response.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of secure Azure architectures meeting business and regulatory requirements.
• Develop security strategies for identity, access management, network security, and data protection.
• Embed security best practices into CI/CD pipelines through DevSecOps integration.
• Design incident detection and response processes, including monitoring, logging, and auditing.
• Identify and mitigate security risks across Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in IT security with at least 5 years focused on cloud security architecture.
• Expertise with Azure Security Center, Azure Key Vault, Azure AD, Azure Policy, and Azure Sentinel.
• Deep knowledge of network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation in Azure.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell and Python.
• Experience with ARM templates and automating security controls.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks such as NIST and ISO.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP) and hybrid cloud security.
• Knowledge of microservices security, container security (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless architectures.
• CCSP certification.
