Description

You will secure and govern Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments, focusing on advanced workloads including AI, AKS, and data intelligence services.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce security policies and guardrails for Azure and O365 aligned with industry frameworks.
• Manage and optimize security services including Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Key Vault, Policy, Firewall, RBAC, and Microsoft 365 Defender.
• Secure advanced Azure services such as Azure AI, Cognitive Search, Document Intelligence, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Implement O365 security controls including Exchange Online Protection, DLP, sensitivity labels, MFA, conditional access, and insider risk management.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines and automate governance using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Terraform.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of cloud security experience, with 3+ years focused specifically on Azure and O365.
• Hands-on expertise in Azure AD / Entra ID, conditional access, RBAC, and privileged identity management.
• Proven experience securing Azure AI, AKS, or other advanced Azure workloads.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 security controls, including the Defender suite, DLP, and identity protection.
• Proficiency in automation tools: PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Terraform.
• Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Background in incident response and remediation within cloud environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Cognitive Search and Document Intelligence security.
• Background in embedding security in O365 integrations.
