Description

You will own the security posture of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments. You define policies, manage security services, and secure advanced workloads including Azure AI and AKS. You embed security into CI/CD pipelines and lead incident response.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce Azure and O365 security policies, standards, and guardrails aligned to industry frameworks.
• Manage and optimize security services: Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Key Vault, Policy, Firewall, RBAC, and Microsoft 365 Defender.
• Secure advanced Azure services including Azure AI, Cognitive Search, Document Intelligence, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Implement and maintain O365 security controls: Exchange Online Protection, DLP, sensitivity labels, MFA/conditional access, and insider risk management.
• Automate governance and compliance checks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Terraform.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of cloud security experience, with 3+ years focused on Azure and O365.
• Expertise in Azure AD / Entra ID, conditional access, RBAC, and privileged identity management.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 security controls, including Defender suite, DLP, and identity protection.
• Demonstrated experience securing Azure AI, AKS, or advanced Azure workloads.
• Background in incident response and remediation in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline security integration.
• Hands-on scripting with PowerShell and Azure CLI.
• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform.

Preferred Skills

• Experience collaborating with DevOps and application teams to embed security practices.
