Description

You design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and architectures on the Azure platform. You lead the end-to-end data engineering lifecycle within Agile environments, ensuring high performance and cost efficiency. You mentor data engineers and guide BI developers while partnering with Product Owners and Tech Leads. You troubleshoot complex data issues and enforce data governance and engineering best practices. You also develop Power BI Premium semantic models and use Python for data processing and automation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL DB, and Azure Synapse Dedicated SQL Pool.
• Implement advanced data modeling techniques including Star, Snowflake, and Lakehouse schemas.
• Build Power BI Premium semantic models, write DAX, and tune performance for enterprise reporting.
• Lead data engineering lifecycle activities from design and development to testing, deployment, and operations.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with stakeholders to drive data product evolution.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Azure data platform engineering.
• Deep expertise in Azure Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL DB, and Azure Synapse.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI Premium, DAX, and semantic model design.
• Experience with data governance and enterprise analytics architectures.
• Working knowledge of Python for data processing and automation.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex data pipelines and performance issues.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with broader Azure ecosystem services including monitoring and security.
• Proven track record of leading teams in global delivery environments.
