Description

You will support applications on Azure and manage cloud migration projects as an SRE support engineer.

Responsibilities

• Support applications running on Azure within an operations role.
• Execute cloud migration projects.
• Implement and support applications using continuous integration and deployment techniques.
• Troubleshoot issues using Azure performance, logging, and monitoring toolsets.
• Mentor and coach team members on technical processes.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in distributed and heterogeneous computing environments including ZOS, UNIX, and Windows.
• 2+ years of experience in Java or .NET microservices coding.
• 2+ years of experience using Azure performance, logging, and monitoring tools.
• 2+ years of experience with release management practices using DevOps tooling.
• 3+ years of experience working with relational or hierarchical databases such as Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience with Bitbucket, Jira, Git, Artifactory, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proven experience in an SRE, DevOps, Cloud Engineer, or Application Support role.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Azure Developer or other Azure certification at associate or professional level.
• Knowledge of networking, storage, security, or middleware.
