Description

You will own the reliability and automation of cloud and on-premises systems using Python and Azure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Python applications and automation solutions to reduce operational toil.
• Build and integrate automation workflows into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Implement observability into cloud platforms using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide support for cloud and on-prem applications.
• Evaluate and implement DevOps tools, including Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Ansible.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Python development with a focus on clean, reusable, and optimized code.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and object-oriented design principles.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, specifically GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience implementing observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, including data modeling, tuning, and testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with Azure cloud services or other CSP environments.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and cloud architecture.
