Description

You will own the Azure environment strategy, architecture, and governance for multi-tenant agencies and internal IT.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure solutions, ensuring performance, security, and scalability across tenants.
• Oversee Azure tenants, Management Groups, and Landing Zone implementations using IaC (ARM, Bicep, Terraform).
• Troubleshoot complex network connectivity issues, including ExpressRoute and on-premises integration.
• Enforce governance and security standards via Azure Policy, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and RBAC.
• Mentor staff, conduct architectural reviews, and maintain technical documentation and playbooks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure services, including VMs, Storage, SQL, and Cosmos DB.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code: ARM templates, Bicep, and Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Strong network troubleshooting skills for Azure networking, VNet, and hybrid connectivity.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, AKS, Azure Container Apps) and serverless architectures.
• Ability to lead cloud migrations in complex, multi-tenant environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Azure Expert-level certification (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
• Experience in government or regulated environments (HIPAA, CJIS, IRS 1075).
