Azure Snowflake Architect

You will design and implement large-scale data architectures using Snowflake and Azure. You own the logical and physical data models, warehouse strategies, and materialized view use cases.

Responsibilities

• Design data security frameworks using classification to protect sensitive information while enabling access.
• Optimize performance and cost by analyzing Snowflake metadata and applying tuning for ingestion, transformation, and queries.
• Deploy data and account replication for cross-account sharing and failover scenarios.
• Automate administrative tasks using Snowflake stored procedures and functions.
• Manage multi-account environments using Snowflake Organization with recovery methods like Time Travel and zero-copy cloning.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture or engineering.
• Expertise in Snowflake administration, including Query Acceleration Service, Snowflake Alerts, and Snowsight observability.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake Organization for multi-account management.
• Proficiency in Snowflake stored procedures and functions.
• Experience integrating Snowflake with Azure SQL Database and Tableau.
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake data security, classification, and access control.
• Working knowledge of Java, AWS, and Azure SQL.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
