Azure Solution Architect

Design and define end-to-end IoT solution architectures on Microsoft Azure for industrial verticals including manufacturing, supply chain, energy, retail, and healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs and customer pain points into digital platform use cases and market requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and IoT solution leads to integrate business needs with existing assets and partner tools.
• Provide technical thought leadership to ensure project goals are met and identify opportunities for additional client value.
• Communicate detailed technical requirements to engineers, data scientists, and technologists.

Required Skills

• 10-15 years of experience as a technical architect.
• Deep knowledge of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS architectures on Microsoft Azure.
• Expertise in architecting end-to-end IoT solutions using Azure IoT Hub, Device Provisioning Service, and Azure IoT SDKs.
• Experience deploying and developing custom Azure IoT Edge modules.
• Proficiency in implementing message processing, data analytics, and Azure Digital Twins.
• Hands-on ability to write code in Python or C# for prototyping.
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Microsoft Defender for IoT, and Azure IoT Central.
• Ability to incorporate end-to-end IoT security and privacy considerations into architectures.

Preferred Skills

• B.S. or MS in Engineering or Computer Science.
