Description

You will design and advance microservices architecture within the Azure cloud environment, ensuring application scaling, resilience, and data consistency across distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Advance microservices architecture to handle transient interruptions and scale effectively.
• Define patterns and practices to maintain data consistency in distributed environments.
• Lead proof of concept activities and evaluate new technologies, hardware, and software.
• Collaborate with business representatives to design tools and applications that support operations.
• Document future state architectures, identify system gaps, and define transition plans.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, applications engineering, or technical operations.
• Extensive experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and the .NET Framework.
• Proven experience writing ASP.NET Core Web API REST services.
• Deep understanding of CLR, dependency injection, repository pattern, and CQRS.
• Hands-on experience with EF Core and object-relational mapping tools.
• Real-world Azure cloud microservices architecture experience.
• Experience with asynchronous message passing using ServiceBus and EventHubs.
• Proficiency with Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Experience with Azure PaaS/SaaS including Managed SQL, Cosmos DB, Application Insights, Redis, Blob Storage, and App Configuration.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and Azure Key Vault.
• Strong understanding of relational databases (Azure SQL) and NoSQL (Cosmos DB).
• Competency with HTTP(S), REST, JSON, YAML, and XML.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of transaction processing, asynchronous implementation, and load balancing.
• Experience with hardware technologies like load balancers, firewalls, and clustering.
