Description

You will design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure services.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end cloud architectures, including deployment models, architecture diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Select appropriate Azure compute, storage, networking, and security services to meet business requirements.
• Implement security best practices involving identity and access management (IAM), network security, encryption, and Azure Defender.
• Enforce compliance with Azure governance, security, and cost-management policies, ensuring adherence to GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX.
• Lead cloud migration efforts from other providers to Azure and drive technical decision-making in architectural discussions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and design.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services and infrastructure.
• Proven experience designing for high availability, disaster recovery, and fault tolerance.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Defender and security implementations.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks including GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
• Ability to manage cloud costs through resource relocation and scaling strategies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with containers, container networking with host OS, and container security.
