Description

Design and implement secure Azure cloud architectures for the Enterprise Information Security Team.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cloud security strategies for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
• Identify security gaps and engineer prototypes for secure cloud practices.
• Champion a DevOps security model to automate security across platforms.
• Advise leadership on security component design and implementation.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in related fields, including 1+ year in Cloud Strategy and Architecture.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, including VNet, Subnets, and Private Connections.
• Hands-on experience with Azure AD, Azure Roles, Permissions, and Authentication.
• Strong networking knowledge covering ports, protocols, firewalls, load balancers, and IPS.
• Proficiency in programming with Python, Perl, Ruby, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with security automation, analytics, and encryption principles.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, micro-segmentation, and IAM.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Experience with NIST, COBIT, ISO 27001, or CSA frameworks.
