Description

Manage and resolve complex technical issues within a 24x7x365 global support environment. You will act as the technical escalation point for scenarios spanning multiple Azure services.

Responsibilities

• Resolve critical technical issues and conduct in-depth diagnostics on Azure platform and services.
• Work with architects to deploy new capabilities and deliver solutions in customer environments.
• Build automation and scripts to streamline troubleshooting and diagnostic activities.
• Create SOPs and TSGs to support L1/L2 operational teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Hands-on experience with Azure SQL and Managed SQL Instance.
• Proficiency in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Windows Cluster, SQL FCI Cluster, and SQL Always On Availability Group Cluster.
• Experience managing database activities including backup/restore, SQL account creation, SQL agent jobs, and database replication.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Graduate degree in any field.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft certification in Azure or Database technologies.
