Description

You will manage and maintain SQL Server and Azure SQL environments, ensuring high availability and performance.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Provision new Azure SQL databases and configure SQL Server systems within Azure.
• Execute backup and restore operations for Azure SQL databases.
• Perform real-time troubleshooting and correction of database issues.
• Modernize applications using Azure SQL Managed Instance and handle database migrations.
• Monitor performance using Azure Monitor to identify and resolve bottlenecks.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of IT experience.
• Hands-on experience managing SQL Server and Azure SQL.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery for data and application availability.
• Proficiency in performance monitoring using Azure Monitor.
• Experience with database migrations.
• Experience working with portfolio/fund accounting systems like Investran.
• Any Graduate education.

• Automate common data management tasks using scripting languages.
