Description

You will manage data integration and database development within an Azure environment, owning the full lifecycle of data ingestion, transformation, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop SQL queries and ETL packages using T-SQL and SSIS to ingest data into the data warehouse.
• Build SQL views to enable data consumption and integrate systems via REST API, SharePoint lists, or sFTP.
• Collect business requirements and user stories directly from clients to define technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database and application defects while performing end-to-end testing.
• Document databases, data process flows, and maintain data dictionaries for clarity and compliance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database development and data modeling.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft BI stack, including SQL Server, T-SQL, SSRS, and MS SQL Enterprise Manager.
• Hands-on experience with ETL, SSIS, and data warehouse design.
• Proven track record migrating SQL Server on-premise workloads to Azure SQL Managed Instance.
• Experience migrating on-premises SSIS workloads to Azure Data Factory (ADF) or Synapse pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of MS Azure Cloud services.
• Experience working within SDLC methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Data Lake, EDL, Hadoop, Hive, Jupyter Notebooks, or Tableau.
• Knowledge of Banking or Risk-related systems.
• Experience developing code to consume REST API services or implementing DevOps.
