Description

You will design, develop, and maintain efficient data flows and batch processes within a cloud environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end pipelines to ingest data from multiple sources into landing layers or SQL tables.
• Develop T-SQL code for batch processing and ETL workflows with integrated error handling.
• Establish cloud connectivity between systems including ADLS, ADF, Synapse, Databricks, and Axway.
• Perform query optimization and performance tuning for MSSQL and Azure SQL databases.
• Execute requirement analysis and software development fundamentals to implement data architecture.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database development and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in T-SQL programming (MSSQL/Sybase).
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory.
• Strong Python scripting skills for data automation.
• Experience with Azure Synapse and Databricks.
• Working knowledge of Azure SQL DB and MSSQL.
• Experience managing Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 and Blob Storage.
• Understanding of relational transactional databases and cloud-based frameworks.
