Description

You will design, implement, and maintain cloud storage infrastructure focused on Azure environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud storage solutions to meet data management and scalability needs.
• Manage cloud storage systems, ensuring data security through encryption, access control, and regulatory compliance.
• Optimize storage performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Develop and execute backup, disaster recovery, and data retention strategies.
• Monitor infrastructure to troubleshoot performance or reliability issues and participate in on-call rotations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience specifically with Azure Storage and cloud storage within Azure environments.
• Proficiency with Azure Blob Storage, Amazon S3, or Google Cloud Storage.
• Strong understanding of data security principles, including encryption and access control.
• Experience with storage networking and protocols such as NAS, SAN, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel.
• Knowledge of storage performance monitoring and optimization techniques.
• Experience implementing backup, disaster recovery, and data retention strategies.
• Ability to manage cloud storage costs and optimize usage.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect or similar cloud certifications.
• Knowledge of containers, container storage solutions, and hybrid or multi-cloud architectures.
