Azure Support Engineer

You will provide technical support and manage cloud-based systems within the Azure ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Support Azure services including AKS, API Management, Application Gateway, WAF, and Azure Monitor using KQL queries.
• Manage Kubernetes environments by troubleshooting deployments, using Helm Charts, checking resource utilization, and managing GitOps processes.
• Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within MongoDB and Microsoft SQL Server databases to ensure performance and availability.
• Monitor infrastructure health via Grafana and Azure Monitor to provide proactive alerts and root-cause analysis.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of industry experience with Azure cloud services, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on expertise with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), API Management, Application Gateway, and WAF.
• Kubernetes proficiency including Helm Charts and GitOps principles.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Database management experience with MongoDB and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Proficiency with Azure Monitor, KQL queries, Event Hub, and Application Insights.
• Knowledge of Azure networking including Virtual Networks, WAF, and Firewalls.
• Experience using Azure DevOps tools, specifically Repos and Pipelines for CI/CD.
• Familiarity with Grafana for monitoring and visualization.
• Azure Certification (Solutions Architect or Administrator) and Kubernetes Certification (CKA or CKAD).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud security best practices in Azure.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications.
