Description

You will design and implement cloud-based data architectures using Azure Synapse Analytics for advanced analytics and big data processing.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data architectures using Azure Synapse Analytics, including SQL and Spark pools.
• Develop and optimize Java-based applications, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
• Manage and optimize MariaDB for transactional and analytical workloads.
• Implement ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory and Apache Spark.
• Integrate real-time data streaming solutions using Azure Stream Analytics and Apache Kafka.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in cloud data architecture, specifically with Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java development, including RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience managing MariaDB for both transactional and analytical workloads.
• Proficiency with Azure Data Factory and Apache Spark for ETL processes.
• Expertise in data integration and real-time data streaming solutions (Azure Stream Analytics, Apache Kafka).
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of data security, encryption, and data governance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apache Spark for big data processing.
• Background in designing scalable cloud data solutions.
