Description

Design and implement scalable data solutions within the Azure ecosystem, focusing on Synapse Analytics and legacy migration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Synapse tables for ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Reverse engineer and migrate legacy SSIS packages to Azure-native solutions.
• Build scalable data pipelines using Spark, Scala, and SQL within Azure Synapse.
• Optimize data storage and tune Synapse tables for performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues within the Synapse environment.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall IT experience.
• 5+ years with Azure native services, including ADF, Synapse, and ADLS Gen2.
• Expertise in Apache Spark and Azure Databricks.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in data modeling and database design.
• Proficiency in Spark Scala and SQL for data processing.
• Experience with SSIS for package analysis and migration.
• Working knowledge of Python.
• Degree in any graduate field.
