Description

Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable enterprise applications on Azure, with a focus on OAuth 2.0/OIDC and Java microservices.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-grade application services using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
• Architect and implement integrations using Azure API Management, including security, throttling, routing, and observability policies.
• Develop secure, token-based authentication and authorization flows using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and Azure Key Vault.
• Build and optimize microservices and event-driven components for large-scale workloads using Azure Event Hub, Cosmos DB, and Azure Functions.
• Troubleshoot distributed systems and implement observability practices, including structured logging, metrics, and distributed tracing.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise application development.
• Deep hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Strong experience with API Gateway design, configuration, and backend integration.
• Proficient with Azure cloud services: App Services, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, Event Hub, and Key Vault.
• Proven ability to implement OAuth 2.0 / OIDC, token validation flows, and security best practices.
• Experience with asynchronous messaging (Kafka or Event Hub) and data pipelines.
• Solid knowledge of observability tools and techniques for distributed systems.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to AI/ML or analytics workflows.
• Experience with hybrid connectivity solutions for on-prem to cloud integration.
