Description

You will provide Level 3 operational support for the deployment and management of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) production and UAT environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Level 3 operational support for VDI products and services.
• Manage production environments and execute all disaster recovery activities for in-scope products.
• Apply SRE and DevOps frameworks to automate monitoring and product support.
• Partner with Monitoring & Stability and EUC functions to improve availability and resilience.
• Participate in an on-call rota for incident management during off-hours and weekends.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technical roles, with a focus on SRE or DevOps in AVD environments.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting skills with at least 3 years of experience automating Windows desktop and virtual environments.
• 3+ years of experience configuring monitoring and hands-free healing for virtual environments using Azure Monitor, AVD Insights, Systrack, New Relic, or Citrix Analytics.
• 2+ years of experience implementing Azure automation products including Azure Functions, Azure Runbooks, Power Platform, or Azure OpenAI Integration.
• 2+ years of experience managing Citrix virtual tools such as Citrix WEB/UPM.
• 2+ years of experience automating AVD reporting using PowerBI.
• Experience implementing synthetic testing to replace manual health checks.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes, including incident and problem management.
• Experience supporting large, globally diverse organizations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Citrix Director or Citrix DaaS.
