Description

You will provide Level 3 operational support for Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) services and manage production environments during the transition from on-premise to cloud-hosted infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Level 3 operational support for VDIs and AVD products.
• Manage production environments and execute all disaster recovery activities for in-scope products.
• Apply SRE and DevOps frameworks to automate monitoring and product support.
• Partner with Monitoring & Stability, Virtual, and Mobility teams to improve product availability and resilience.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for incident management during out-of-hours and weekends.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of advanced PowerShell scripting for automating Windows desktop and virtual environments.
• 3+ years of experience setting up monitoring for Windows or virtual environments using tools such as Systrack, New Relic, Azure Monitor, AVD Insights, or Citrix Analytics.
• 2+ years of experience configuring Azure automation products including Azure Open AI Integration, Power Platform, Azure Runbooks, and Azure Functions.
• 2+ years of experience managing Citrix virtual tools including Citrix Director, Citrix DaaS, and Citrix WEM/UPM.
• 2+ years of experience automating AVD reporting using PowerBI.
• Background in SRE or DevOps specifically within AVD environments.
• Experience supporting large, globally diverse organizations.
• Knowledge of enterprise-level Windows device configuration and management systems.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes, including incident and problem management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing synthetic testing in virtual or desktop environments to automate health checks and post-change testing.
