Description

You will design and architect data systems, including databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Define entity relationship diagrams with the BI team to align data product designs.
• Develop the framework for how data is modeled, stored, organized, and accessed.
• Establish a common data dictionary to ensure organizational consistency.
• Develop and maintain necessary APIs supporting application and data requirements.
• Account for the overall health and quality of data solutions, systems, and platforms.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with SQL and alternatives like MySQL.
• 3+ years of experience with Snowflake.
• 5+ years of experience with Azure Data Lake.
• 5+ years of experience with Tableau, PowerBI, or similar products.
• Experience with micro-services architecture, containerization, Azure cloud, and SaaS solutions.
• Experience with SDLC and agile software development methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience creating a vision, long-term roadmap, and team execution.
