Description

Validate SOX compliance control migrations from legacy platforms to Controls Hub through backend testing and Python-based automation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing for control migrations to ensure accurate mapping between legacy and new systems.
• Develop Python automation scripts and frameworks for data comparison and validation.
• Execute backend database testing to verify data integrity, mappings, and migration logic.
• Analyze system structures to ensure consistency in relationships between users, data, and access controls.
• Identify, document, and troubleshoot defects to ensure resolution before production deployment.

Required Skills

• 3–6 years of experience in QA/Testing with a focus on automation and backend testing.
• Strong SQL expertise for writing complex queries and analyzing large datasets.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and relational database design.
• Proven ability to build automation testing frameworks from scratch using Python.
• Experience in data migration testing, regression testing, or cross-system validation.
• Solid understanding of data modeling and relational integrity.
• Ability to independently build, run, and maintain automated tests.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of SOX, audit platforms, or governance and compliance systems.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
