Description

You will build and maintain scalable, highly-available RESTful APIs and distributed services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and scale RESTful APIs using Node.js and JavaScript.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within a distributed services ecosystem.
• Implement performance tuning, debugging, and monitoring for backend systems.
• Ensure technical architecture adheres to coding, security, unit testing, and documentation standards.
• Research and benchmark technologies to maintain high architectural quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of coding experience with Node.js, JavaScript, and Databases.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with TypeScript.
• Practical experience implementing GraphQL.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD principles and distributed systems.
• Experience with API gateway integrations such as 3Scale.
• Understanding of token-based authentication including REST, JWT, and OAuth.
• Expertise in task and message queues including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Pushpin, or Kafka.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Professional experience in Banking, Financial, or Fintech enterprise environments.
