Description

You will design, develop, and customize backend components on the SAP Hybris platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop extensions, services, and integrations using Java to implement eCommerce business logic.
• Customize core Hybris modules including Product, Order, Customer, and Checkout.
• Build integrations between SAP Hybris and enterprise systems like SAP and Salesforce.
• Develop REST APIs and service layers while optimizing platform performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot backend issues within Hybris environments and ensure code quality via reviews.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Java-based development.
• Strong expertise with SAP Hybris / SAP Commerce Cloud backend development.
• Proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework.
• Experience building Hybris extensions, service layers, facades, and cron jobs.
• Knowledge of Hybris data modeling (items.xml) and platform configuration.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and microservices.
• Good understanding of SQL and database design.
• Familiarity with SAP and Salesforce integration patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of event-driven integrations using Apache Kafka.
• Experience with eCommerce checkout, order management, and product catalog modules.
