Description

Build and maintain server-side applications and database architectures. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
• Design and implement database schemas in MySQL and MongoDB.
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability while participating in code reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in back-end development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and advanced JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with Express.js.
• Experience with MySQL and MongoDB.
• Proven ability to build and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with version control systems including Git and SVN.
• Experience working in Agile environments using Jira.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience with Docker and containerization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
