You will design and develop microservices-based applications to modernize existing systems and support business enhancements.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop microservices-based applications to modernize existing systems.
• Enhance existing applications hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Partner with Security, Engineering, and Platform teams to ensure adherence to enterprise DevOps standards.
• Review and tune complex SQL queries within Oracle Databases.
• Resolve complex technical issues by providing sound recommendations in ambiguous environments.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of application development and technology experience.
• Expert proficiency in Java 21 and Spring Boot.
• 6 years of experience designing, developing, and deploying microservices within Kubernetes environments.
• 3 years of experience managing Kubernetes clusters, Docker, and containerization.
• 3 years of experience with Tomcat and Linux/Unix systems.
• 3 years of experience with Cloud and DevOps tools including GIT/Stash, Fortify, and Jenkins.
• 3 years of experience working in Cloud environments, preferably Oracle Cloud.
• Experience working in Agile environments with CI/CD driven development.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database and SQL tuning.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of Kafka, IBM MQ, JSON, Camel, and APIGEE.
• Knowledge of GenAI, Agentic AI, and AI tools.
