Description

You will design and implement enterprise-class microservices and web applications using Java and AWS, focusing on backend assignment data management.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AWS-based microservices to manage backend assignment data.
• Develop JPA modules for Oracle database interaction and implement message listeners for queue-to-consumer workflows.
• Execute continuous builds and deployments using Jenkins, deploying WAR files to Tomcat servers.
• Analyze user needs to define technical requirements and design database structures.
• Conduct unit testing with JUnit and Mockito, perform code reviews, and maintain design documentation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of progressive experience in software development.
• Expertise in Core Java and J2EE.
• Strong experience with Spring framework and Microservices architecture.
• Extensive experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
• Proficiency with REST, SOAP, and Web services.
• Hands-on experience with Maven, Ant, and SCM tools.
• Ability to use Postman and REST clients for service testing.
• Experience using JIRA and Confluence for Agile/Scrum task management.

Preferred Skills

• ReactJS, HTML5, CSS, and JSON for front-end development.
• Kafka, RabbitMQ, Cassandra, or Redis.
• Kubernetes, JBPM, or Apigee.
