Description

Design and maintain scalable backend services, REST APIs, and data solutions in a serverless AWS environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs and backend services using Python and AWS Lambda.
• Integrate and manage data solutions using Amazon Aurora and DynamoDB to ensure performance and scalability.
• Create and deploy database schema changes and migrations using Liquibase while maintaining version control.
• Implement automated testing, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting processes for reliable operations.
• Optimize application performance and contribute to technical design and architecture discussions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in backend application development and cloud engineering.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Python and serverless architecture.
• Proven expertise in AWS Lambda, REST API development, Amazon Aurora, and DynamoDB.
• Strong proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Experience with Liquibase for database schema management.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
