Description

You will design, develop, and maintain backend services and large-scale data processing pipelines.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage ETL workflows for large-scale data transformation and integration.
• Automate data orchestration pipelines using AWS Glue, Step Functions, Lambda, SNS, SQS, and S3.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Optimize code quality, scalability, and performance following established best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to maintain system uptime.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience as a Backend or Java Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java (Collections, Multithreading, Streams).
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.
• Proven expertise in ETL pipeline design and maintenance.
• Practical experience with AWS services: Glue, Step Functions, Lambda, SNS, SQS, S3.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API development and integration.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD tools, and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python or Scala for data workflows.
• Familiarity with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure automation.
• Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
