Description

You will design and implement complex, multi-tier distributed software systems throughout the full development life cycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement distributed software systems and service-oriented architectures.
• Drive product direction by contributing to new and existing product initiatives.
• Review code to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and mitigate potential risks.
• Communicate design ideas for large-scale systems using standard design tools and patterns.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software design and development experience.
• Strong backend development expertise in Java and Spring.
• Deep technical understanding of Java or Go, with a willingness to work in both.
• Proficiency with distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, and REST/JSON.
• Strong handle on concurrency challenges and designing solutions for them.
• Extensive experience with RDBMS, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Solid foundation in computer science, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with object-oriented design and large-scale application development.
• Heavy emphasis on code testing and designing for testability.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to understand large-scale data and build machine learning models for forecasting and prediction.
