Description

Build and maintain scalable server-side applications using the .NET ecosystem and Azure cloud services.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop RESTful APIs, including routing, versioning, and status code management.
• Architect technical solutions and break them down into actionable execution plans.
• Optimize database performance through advanced T-SQL, query tuning, and schema design.
• Implement asynchronous messaging and data storage solutions using Azure services.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and system reliability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework, specifically .NET 6, 7, or 8+.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or Azure SQL, including advanced T-SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Service Bus and Azure Cosmos DB or similar NoSQL stores.
• Knowledge of Azure PaaS such as App Service, Functions, or Container Apps.
• Proficiency with Git-based workflows using Azure DevOps or GitHub.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using YAML, GitHub Actions, or Azure Pipelines.
• Competency in Java/J2EE and SQL.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
• Knowledge of legacy .NET Framework 4.x and migration to .NET 8+.
• Familiarity with Azure Application Insights, Log Analytics, or Azure API Management.
