Description

You will design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform. You own the full lifecycle from building scalable microservices to optimizing performance and monitoring systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable microservices using Java Spring Boot and React/TypeScript on GCP Cloud Run.
• Implement REST APIs and optimize SQL queries for Postgres, MSSQL, and BigQuery.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and cloud-native deployments.
• Apply TDD and BDD practices to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues using Grafana, Splunk, and GCP Cloud Logging.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of software development experience, with 3+ years in application development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with React and TypeScript.
• Proven track record with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically Cloud Run.
• Solid understanding of SQL and database integration (Postgres/MSSQL/BigQuery).
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Ability to work in Agile environments with TDD/BDD practices.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud monitoring tools.
