Description

Design, develop, and deliver back-end applications, APIs, and microservices while solving complex customer problems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver new code and back-end applications using server-side languages.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user interface elements.
• Manage application deployment to GCP Cloud Run, health monitoring, security hardening, and disaster recovery.
• Optimize back-end infrastructure and deployment practices to improve resiliency.
• Promote improvements in programming practices, including test-driven development and continuous integration.

Required Skills

• 10+ years in IT with 8+ years in development.
• Proficiency in at least two coding languages (Java, Python, or C#).
• Experience with React and JavaScript for full-stack integration.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database technologies (Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Cloud Run.
• Proficiency in DevOps practices, test automation, and mutation testing.
• Ability to guide teams and apply security practices for data safeguarding.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience aligning with architecture guidelines for unified development.
