Description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications and cloud-based systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate ambiguous requirements into clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Own production issues from root cause analysis to resolution through an on-call rotation.
• Optimize algorithms, data usage, and cloud services for latency, availability, and cost.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead technical initiatives from architectural design to production.
• Participate in code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and implement observability.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of relevant professional experience or equivalent advanced education.
• Proficiency in Java or another modern development language/framework.
• Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in distributed systems, databases, security, or fintech.
• Proven ability to lead projects from architectural design to production.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, specifically CI/CD.
• Experience with version control systems using Git.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building and scaling high-performance engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of security best practices for enterprise applications.
